What a difference a couple of days makes! Mango is heading to Vancouver and Tandoori will be flying with her and then on to Nanaimo, where he will be living. Bombay is off to New Jersey too!
Now just Chai waits for a loving home to call her own.
I called Westjet today to begin the travel bookings for the puppies flying to their new homes in BC and New Jersey on the weekend of December 19th, only to find out that tomorrow is the last day puppies can fly before the Christmas embargoes on pets! Bring on the rushing around and drama, and somehow it has all come together. The puppies leaving have all been vet checked with international health certificates, crates have been bought, money has changed hands, tattoos have been done, and now we just drop them off to the airport tomorrow destined for their new lives and homes.
What a whirlwind! I am just glad it all worked out that so many people could come together to make this happen!! Especially Mike who is driving over 6 hours each way to collect Bombay from the Montreal airport and bring him back to Jersey City, and Rod who is taking the harbour plane from Nanaimo to Vancouver to pick up Tandoori. Thanks a million, puppy people!
