I don't think I could ever say enough about Trisha and her Daintree puppies (and the elders)! As a veterinarian, I searched high and low for an excellent breeder and couldn't be happier with my puppy and with getting to know Trisha and her values as a breeder. I am from NJ and I could have easily just got a puppy from a breeder that was closer, but none of them appealed to me. I either didn't get any responses back when contacting them or they were just not friendly and interested in giving me any general information. I had been wanting to get a duck toller for about 5 years prior to contacting Daintree. That's really when I began my research on the breed and the search for a breeder. I had found Daintree Duck Tollers and began following them on social media. I loved what I saw and loved the way that they were raised prior to going to their families. It wasn't until this past summer that I was finally ready to welcome a toller into my life and that's when I contacted Trisha. She was extremely thorough with her applications and honest with the interview questions/answers. She has answered any and all questions and is still very readily available if needed after any puppy leaves her home. The availability is something that is highly valuable to any new first time puppy owner (or to new toller puppy owners). Trisha also makes it a point to have the prospective puppy families be very involved via social media in the daily day to day lives of the puppies from the moment they are born to the day they leave her home. Being from NJ, it would have been extremely hard to just go and visit the puppies prior to bringing my puppy home so social media made it extremely easy to see the puppies and be involved without having to actually be there in person. And my final praise.....Puppy Culture. Trisha starts instilling the values of puppy culture the moment that her puppies are born. It's what makes her puppies special and sets them apart from other puppies who have not been raised via puppy culture. I have to say that I have raised many puppies in my life and my puppy, Drummer, has so far been one of the best. He is confident everywhere he goes and in everything he explores, he is happy to meet new people, and he gets along great with my 3 other dogs (and even the two cats). He is quite the dream puppy for sure. I would definitely travel the distance again for a Daintree toller and I will highly recommend Trisha and her Daintree dogs to everyone who is interested in the breed. I look forward to the relationship ahead with my puppy and with Daintree. I wish I could give more than 5 stars!
