There just aren't the words to describe the joy that Puck brings to our lives, or how wonderful the folks at Daintree Kennels are, but we'll do our best. Puck is now a healthy, happy, joyful, and playful puppy of 7 months. He absolutely hit the ground running from the moment we picked him up - he handled the 8-hour car ride home to North Vancouver like an absolute pro. The ENS work, puppy culture, and hours of dedicated work that Trisha and the team do really do make all the difference. Puck slept through the night from day 1, was perfectly crate trained, and has no separation issues. He's incredibly social and plays and interacts so well with other dogs.
When you bring a Daintree puppy home, you are truly becoming a member of Trisha's family. She is always there to answer questions and keeps tabs on the pups. You can really see the pride she has in each and every one of her dogs! We found the entire application process to be efficient and well-communicated. The screening process in particular made us feel like Trisha truly cares about the homes that she chooses for her pups. She also answered all of our questions thoroughly. The Gotcha Day was one that neither one of us will ever forget. It was so special to be able to go to Nakusp and meet several generations of Daintree Dogs, as well as Puck's siblings. The matching process is also second to none. Trisha and Scott not only took our needs into consideration but the needs and personality traits of our other dog, Penny. Puck could not be a more perfect match for our family and lifestyle. Anyone who is on the fence should simply put their complete faith and trust in the Daintree crew because you will not be disappointed.
Puck came into our lives a month after Alex unexpectedly lost her mom to cancer. He has and continues to be such a special little light, especially in the wake of that loss. Anyone who is fortunate enough to have the honour of providing a home for a Daintree dog is truly blessed.
