Now we're in the waiting phase
The honeymoon is over, and Topaz is over his little obsession with Mercedes now.
She is acting very affectionate, which is one of the signs of pregnancy in a canine. So odds are good that everything is going according to plan.
We are in the waiting phase, as it will take about 4-5 weeks for her to start showing.
Poor Topaz
He's dying. Mercedes has arrived for their courtship and honeymoon, and you'd think he has died and gone to heaven.
She isn't quite ready to make magic happen, but he sure is. I guess that means I have to put up with his silly grin and long-suffering squeaky sighs until she feels the time is right.
Oh well there are worse things I could have to worry about. We are very happy to have you here, Mercedes.
Upcoming Events for Daintree
Rhys is officially entered in the AKC dog show over the weekend of Feb 5/6/7 this year at the Big Four Building on the Stampede Grounds.
We are registered in handling classes for Bhindi at the Canine Fitness Centre beginning Jan 23 so she can get more of a "handle" on what she needs to do in the show ring.
Both girls will be participating in the sanction match on Feb 6th at the show, and are entered in the CGN testing on Feb 7th.
