Marvel is a neutered male seeking a placement as a beloved family pet. He was born in 2020 and raised by a family who decided not to keep him after he bit a child.
He was returned to Daintree for evaluation and rehoming in November of 2022. We have had him physically examined by our vet and a month-long professional evaluation by a certified trainer. He has been deemed adoptable.
He is best suited to a quiet, adult home with some experience with dogs who have shut down. Although he is very well trained, he is uneasy in new situations and will need time and space to settle in.

GUARDIAN OPPORTUNITIES
Through an extensive matching process, we assign one of our current adult dogs to your family, for which you become the Guardian. A Guardian shares their Daintree adult dog with us and the dog lives full time with you but comes back to perform maternal or paternal duties at the kennel. This is a dog-sharing program and is only for a few very select families. There is a lot of trust involved on our part, and on yours it means you would have to give up your dog briefly once a year until retirement when the dog would be signed over to you. This situation provides a loving family home for our breeding dogs but also allows us to continue without becoming overrun by Tollers. Though that is not a terrible fate, we honestly just need to keep the in-house population numbers down for some work/life balance. We want to be able to breed amazing Tollers while taking amazing care of all of the dogs; parents and puppies alike not to mention ourselves. We need great partners to do so. Is it a fit for you?
