Steeler is a natural athlete, jumping high into the air for her ball, independent and very obedient. She loved to learn new tricks with the clicker when she was just a few months old, even learning to do an entire bead maze with her nose and to tell the difference between 4 coloured objects.

She is incredibly soft, solid red with white on chest and paws, and gorgeous amber coloured eyes. Steeler is our Queen Bee, keeping the rest of the dogs in line with a quiet, understated approach. We are thrilled with the way she has produced in her 3 litters to date (Magic 8, Literary and French) and are very excited about the litters yet to come.

Career Highlights:

  • Steeler's Sire Tyson is an accomplished show dog, having won the breed at both Westminster 2009 and Eukanuba.
  • Her dam, Bhindi was born from the first Daintree litter in 2008.
  • In the fall of 2016, Steeler easily achieved her Canadian Championship in Conformation in just 3 weekends in the ring, handled by Aaron Andriash and Amanda Williams of Precision Handling. Steeler began her show career at the Lower Mainland Dog Fanciers show held in Chilliwack, BC . She came away from the first weekend with her first point for Winners Bitch awarded by Judge Mrs. Elaine Ty from the Phillippines.
  • The following weekend, she attended the Mt Cheam Canine Association show with Precision. On Friday September 23, 2016 she went Best of Winners for 2 points under Chilean Judge Eugenio Gonzoles. On Saturday September 24, she went Winners Bitch for another  point under Brazilian Judge Daniel Rubio. On the final day, Steeler went Best of Winners again for another 2 points under Serbian Judge Vojislav Al Daghistini putting her weekend total at 5.
  • Steeler accumulated the final 4 points to compete her Canadian Championship going Winners Bitch every day at Fraser Valley Dog Fanciers Oct 7-10, 2016. Many thanks to Judges Charles Trotter, Patricia Trotter, Keke Kahn and Edd Bivin.
