Yay! Boomer has a home!!

Geoff and Linda originally inquired about a puppy but after reviewing their application, I could easily see that they would be an excellent placement for our big boy who was returned for some behaviour issues.  We are finalizing plans for his transport to the Yukon and with any luck they will be picking up their boy by the end of the month.

he's back!

Topaz is back tonight!  He is all finished partying with Shasta at Pikkinokka and fell fast asleep on my bed using my pillow.  All that hard work, now he's going to need to rest awhile. 

He was so thrilled to see me when I collected him that he kicked both his back legs out behind him like a double-legged donkey kick!  I have never seen him do that before.  This was while I was petting him with his shoulders between my knees, a Topaz 'hug'.  Funniest thing ever.
