A little something I wrote on facebook today
Pristine lake lapping at the shore, 4 dogs running off leash, a man doing tai chi says good morning, the call of loons on the water, 2 ladies on cruiser bikes with handlebar ribbons say what a lovely family of dogs I have, sunshine on my face, fresh clean air to breathe, an older couple getting ready to Harley Davidson... down our mountain roads stop to ask what kinds of dogs I have... all before 8am.
After work this evening, I took the gang for a stroll along the lakefront and met up with 2 little girls who were 10. They were very keen to meet the dogs, learn their names and even take them for a walk with me. Meagan's favorite was Splash, as she said "Wow she is in really good shape for 12!" Colette liked Bhindi best, even though she excitedly nipped her hand at first. Colette is French and said Bhindi was her favorite because she is "so energetical." I love my dogs!
In other news, the Maritime Litter's Grandmother is looking for a home, if anyone knows someone looking for a 6 year old Duck Toller.
Trisha and Topaz heading to Calgary for the weekend
I am heading to Calgary to do a couple of things and have setted on Topaz as my travelling companion. We need some good bonding time, my brother misses him and wants to see him again and with any luck we will neet up with a couple of prospective Daintree families while there.
Two year old rescue male available
My mentor and friend Til has had a 2 year old neutered male returned for minor behaviour issues. He is a big lanky boy and would do best in a home where he is the only pet. Boomer is very responsive, comes the FIRST time you call, sits the MINUTE he is asked, and will stay quietly on a bed or in his crate for hours- until it's time to go for a walk or a SWIM! His favorite thing is the water.
